 Message to Parents & Guardians:

Please send an extra mask to school with your child. It is part of the CBE protocol that all staff and students have a mask when physical distancing is not able to occur.

Today we had our first In-Class, Virtual Whole School Assembly.

Today's Learning Highlights:

Ask your child about the purpose for a sticky note during learning activities.

Today Scientists in Room One used sticky notes to learn about taking notes. Scientist used the sticky notes while watching a video about The 5 Senses. They recorded one piece of information from the video on a sticky note. Each student had two sticky notes. We discussed the reason for taking notes and how sticky notes are a tool to support our learning.

Ask your child about using graphic organizer as a tool for learning.

Today Scientists in Room One started to use a graphic organizer to document what they saw in their lunch kits. This was students exploring the concept of sight as one of our senses.

Connection to The Alberta Program of Studies
