Message to Parents & Guardians:
- Check out Google Classroom for links to RazKids and Mathletics
- Grade 1 and 2 students should be doing 10 - 15 minutes of Home Reading every night
- Ask your child about representing numbers in equal groups (Grade 1)

- Represent and describe numbers to 20, concretely, pictorially and symbolically
- Demonstrate an understanding of counting by using parts or equal groups to count sets
- Ask your child about even and odd numbers (Grade 2)

- Determine if a number is even or odd by using concrete materials or pictorial representations
- Identify even and odd numbers in a sequence, such as in a hundreds chart
- Sort a set of numbers into even or odd
Learning Highlights:
- Today Mathematicians worked with numbers. using Mathletics and Jamboard
- They learned and practiced how to represent and describe numbers
- Mathematicians learned the vocabulary even, odd, equal, same, different and not equal
