Message to Parents & Guardians:
- Please send an extra mask everyday to school for your child. With the warmer weather, many students are misplacing their masks when they go outside.
- Check out Google Classroom for links to RazKids and Mathletics
- Grade 1 and 2 students should be doing 10 - 15 minutes of Home Reading every night
Learning Highlights:
This week, scientists in grade 1/2 started their discovery into magnets.
- We started with a pre-assessment sorting objects into categories of magnetic and non-magnetic
- Scientists in room one used "graffiti boards" to share their thoughts about the meaning of the different scientific vocabulary.
- They enjoyed using words and pictures to represent their thoughts.
- Scientists had a chance to explore the classroom for magnetic and nonmagnetic objects using a wand magnet

Tuesday and Thursday - Soup at Lunch. Students must have a signed permission form.
