Message to Parents & Guardians:
- Check out Google Classroom for links to RazKids and Mathletics
- Grade 1 and 2 students should be doing 10 - 15 minutes of Home Reading every night
- Ask your child about the learning tasks they are completing in Social Studies
- Ask your child about Google Maps and how it can be used as a tool
Learning Highlights:
- Grade 1 and 2 "Travellers" are preparing for their trip to three unique places in Canada. We will be exploring: Iqaluit, Meteghan and Saskatoon
- Travellers have looked at the Map of Canada and coloured in the places they will be visiting.
- Travellers have created their travel bags to collect all of their learning artifacts
- Travellers have also created their Passports
- We are just about ready to "travel" to our first destination but first we must learn a little about the place will will visit first: Meteghan, Nova Scotia.
