Message to Parents & Guardians:
- Valentine Cards must be brought to school before February 5th, 2020. This will allow them to be in quarantine for at least 72 hours. Valentine Cards will be handed out on February 10th, 2021.
- Students have been invited to make a list of their peers to take home. A class list from the teacher will not be handed out.
- Ask your child about our new learning journey in Social Studies.
Today's Learning Highlights:
- Grade 1/2 students have started their learning Journey into exploring Canada's Dynamic Communities.
- We have started with learning about Canada as a Country.
- We asked the students: Is there a symbol you have seen that would identify you as being Canadian? The Canadian Flag.
- Students are busy practicing their fine motor skills and artistic abilities to create the Canadian Flag.
Important Dates to Remember:
Tuesday and Thursday - Soup at Lunch. Students must have a signed permission form.
February 9th - School Council Meeting at 6:30 (Virtual)
February 10th - Wear Red and Pink
February 11th & 12th - No School for Students
February 15th - Family Day (No School)
